Terms of Service
The rules for using this site and the referral service: what we do, what the contractor does, and where responsibility sits.
Last updated 27 August 2026.
These terms cover your use of this website and the referral service reached through it. Using the site or calling the number means you accept them. If you do not, the remedy is simple: do not use the service.
What the service is
Huntington Beach Plumbing Hub is a referral and dispatch service. We take your call, work out what kind of plumbing work is needed, and refer you to a licensed independent plumbing contractor. We are not a plumbing contractor ourselves, we hold no contractor license, and we perform no plumbing work.
Your agreement is with the contractor
Work performed at your property is carried out by an independent contractor under their own license, insurance and bond. Your contract for that work is between you and them. Specifically:
- The contractor diagnoses on site and sets the price. We do not quote, negotiate or invoice you.
- The contractor performs the work and is responsible for its quality, timeliness and safety.
- Any workmanship guarantee is the contractor's. Fixtures and equipment carry whatever warranty the manufacturer provides.
- License, insurance and permit questions should be put to the contractor before work begins. They can produce their own documentation.
- Nothing beyond what you approve on site should be carried out. If a contractor exceeds that, tell us as well as them.
We choose who we refer carefully and we act on complaints, but we do not warrant or guarantee the work, conduct, pricing or license status of any contractor.
Arrival windows and availability
Our dispatch desk operates 24 hours a day and most daytime calls can be given a same-day window. Windows are estimates that depend on traffic, weather, contractor availability and what else is happening in the city on that day. Nothing on this site is a promise of arrival time, and no arrival time is a contractual commitment. Where something elsewhere delays your window, we call you rather than let it pass in silence.
Information on this site is general
The service and area pages describe common plumbing problems in this part of Orange County. They are written to help you describe a symptom and understand your options, not to diagnose your property. Nothing here is professional, engineering or legal advice, and no page should be relied on as a substitute for an on-site inspection by a licensed plumber. If you act on general information instead of an inspection, that decision is yours.
In an emergency, shut off the water and call. Do not work through a web page while a pipe is open.
Acceptable use
Do not use the site or the phone line to harass, defraud or mislead, to place calls on behalf of someone who has not asked you to, to scrape or republish the content commercially, or to interfere with the site's operation. We may decline a referral for any lawful reason, including abusive conduct toward our staff or toward a contractor.
Content and marks
The text, layout, photography and brand marks on this site belong to the operator or are used with permission. You may read, print and share pages for your own non-commercial use. Republishing the content as your own, or using the name and marks in a way that suggests an association that does not exist, is not permitted.
Third-party links
Where the site links to another organization, we do not control that site and are not responsible for its content or its privacy practices.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for loss or damage arising from work performed by a referred contractor, from a delay in arrival, or from reliance on general information published on this site. Liability arising from our own referral activity is limited to the amount you paid us for it, which for a free referral service is nothing. This clause does not limit liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Disputes are subject to the courts serving Orange County, California.
Changes
We may update these terms. The current version always appears on this page with the date at the top, and continued use after a change means you accept the updated version.
