Privacy Policy

What we do with the information you give us on the phone, who receives it, and how to ask us to delete it.

Last updated 27 August 2026.

This policy explains what Huntington Beach Plumbing Hub does with information you give us when you call, and what happens to it afterwards. It is written to describe how the service actually works rather than to cover every possibility, and it will be updated if the service changes.

Who we are

Huntington Beach Plumbing Hub is a referral and dispatch service. We connect callers with licensed independent plumbing contractors. References to "we" and "us" below mean the operator of this website and phone line, not the contractors we refer you to.

What we collect

Almost everything we hold comes from a phone call you chose to make. In the course of that call we typically take your name, a callback number, the service address or cross streets, the property type, and your description of the plumbing problem. We do not ask for payment details, and we have no reason to hold them.

This website has no contact form, no account system, no newsletter signup and no online booking. There is nothing on it that asks you to type in personal information.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics, advertising or session tracking. Two ordinary technical exceptions apply. First, the web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests files from a Google server and Google receives your IP address and user-agent as part of that request. Second, the hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which normally include IP address, timestamp, requested page and user-agent, and which exist for security and troubleshooting.

Calls are placed through a business telephone number and are answered by the operator’s dispatch staff. We do not record or monitor calls. If that ever changes, this policy will be updated and the recording announced at the start of the call, as California law requires.

Why we use it and who receives it

The purpose is narrow: to match your job to a plumber who can actually do it, and to let that plumber arrive with enough context to be useful. What you tell us is passed to the contractor assigned to the job, which normally means your name, contact number, address and description of the problem.

Once a contractor has your details, they hold them as an independent business under their own privacy practices, not ours. If they later contact you about other work, that is their decision and their responsibility. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

How long we keep it

Call records are kept only as long as needed to match and follow up on the job, and to keep basic records of referrals made. Server logs are kept for whatever period the hosting provider applies by default.

Your choices and California rights

You can decline to give any detail on the phone, though we may then be unable to match the job. If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended gives you the right to know what personal information a business holds about you, to request deletion, to request correction, and to opt out of sale or sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell or share personal information in that sense, so there is nothing to opt out of, but the other rights apply.

To exercise any of them, call 657-337-7830. We will not treat you differently for asking. We may need to verify who you are before acting, which for a phone-based service usually means matching the number and job details we hold.

Children

This is a service for property owners and occupiers. We do not direct it at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Call records are kept on the operator's ordinary business systems, accessible to the staff who need them. No arrangement is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version appears on this page with a new date at the top. Material changes to how we handle call information will be described rather than quietly folded in.
