About Huntington Beach Plumbing Hub

Built on one idea: the person who answers your call and the plumber who arrives at your door should both know this city. We have spent years learning which plumber to send for which problem in Huntington Beach and the coastal edge of Orange County.

Who we are

A local desk, not a national call center

Huntington Beach Plumbing Hub takes plumbing calls across every Huntington Beach neighborhood, from Downtown and the Harbour to Adams, Garfield and Brookhurst, and across the neighboring cities. We are the front desk: we answer at any hour, work out what is actually happening from your description, and get a licensed independent plumber to your address who handles that kind of work in your part of the city.

The reason that is worth something is narrower than it sounds. Drain and sewer work, water heaters, gas, slab leaks and repipes are genuinely different trades, and a plumber who spends their week on tankless conversions is not the one you want cutting into a slab. Most callers cannot know which is which at eleven at night with water spreading across a floor. Knowing it, and knowing who is close and actually available, is the job we do.

Nobody on our end quotes over the phone. Diagnosis happens on site with the plumber in front of the problem, the price is on the table before a tool comes out, and you decide from there.

How a call goes

Three steps, no forms

Nothing to fill in, no callback queue. You talk to someone who can dispatch immediately.

You describe it in plain words

No jargon needed. What you can see, hear or smell, where the property is, and how fast it is getting worse. If water is moving somewhere it should not be, say that first.

We match it to the right plumber

This is where the experience goes. Location matters as much as trade: a Harbour waterfront home and an inland tract house off Adams are not the same job, and neither are their access constraints. We pick from the plumbers we work with accordingly, then confirm an arrival window with you.

You get the price, then you decide

The plumber diagnoses on site and quotes you directly before anything is opened up or replaced. If you would rather wait, get a second opinion or handle only the urgent part today, that is a normal answer and nobody should push past it. Tell us if anyone does.

Why local matters here

Huntington Beach is not a generic plumbing market

Salt-laden air works on anything exposed: hose bibs, exterior copper runs, pressure regulators and water-heater fittings all age faster near the sand than they do three miles inland. Much of the city is slab-on-grade, so a pinhole under the floor has nowhere to go but sideways, into the slab and up through flooring. Older laterals in cast iron or clay sit under decades of street-tree roots. Near the water, the table itself is high enough to change which repair is the sensible one.

None of that is exotic knowledge, but it is the difference between a plumber who has seen it a hundred times and one meeting it for the first time on your floor. Knowing which of those is about to knock on your door is exactly what we are for.

The people you will deal with

Who is behind the number

Three names, all reachable, all of them people you can ask for by name. None of us performs the plumbing work: that is done by the licensed independent contractors we refer you to. If something goes wrong on a job, one of these three is who calls you back.

Carter Whitman, Chief Executive Officer

Carter Whitman

Chief Executive Officer

Carter runs the referral service and owns the standard behind it: which licensed contractors get our calls, and who stops getting them. He oversees daily operations and the way jobs are matched across Huntington Beach.

Evan Callahan, Plumbing Expert

Evan Callahan

Technical Advisor

Evan is the one who works out what your call actually is. Leak symptoms, drain behavior, water heater noise, pressure complaints: he translates the description into a scope, then routes it to a contractor who does that specific work regularly. He does not perform the repair. He makes sure the right licensed plumber turns up for it.

Ryan Prescott, Customer Relations Expert

Ryan Prescott

Customer Relations Expert

Ryan handles the part between the call and the van. Confirming arrival windows, answering questions, chasing an update when a contractor is running late, and checking in afterwards to hear how the job went. What he hears is what changes the contractor list.

How we choose who we send

Not everyone with a van gets our calls

A referral is only worth as much as the standard behind it. Ours is deliberately narrow.

License checked, not assumed

We work only with plumbers holding a current California C-36 license, plus liability insurance and a bond.

Local track record

We favor plumbers who have spent real time on this coastline, because slab leaks, salt corrosion and high water tables are not learned from a manual.

Complaints change the list

When a call goes badly we want to hear about it, and pressure selling, a price that moved after approval or a no-show is enough to stop sending someone work.

You can and should ask the plumber at your door for their license number, insurance certificate and bond details before work begins. Any professional worth having will produce them without being pushed. The terms of service set out exactly how the arrangement works, including that your agreement for the work is with the plumber who performs it.

One number, any hour

Describe the problem and we will tell you what happens next, including whether it is worth a call-out tonight or better handled in the morning.

Straight talk on the phone costs you nothing and often saves a visit.
